About Our Cleaning

What type of Cleaning do we use?
We use a cleaning method called Hot Water Steam Extraction. This method is recommended by nearly all of the carpet manufactures and carpet fibre producers. This will give you a nice deep clean leaving your carpets and upholstery clean and fresh. It is also very effective at removing stains and smells caused by smoke, animals, food and drink etc.
What is Hot Water Extraction?
Hot Water Extraction sometimes called deep steam cleaning, is the most effective method for cleaning the majority of carpets and upholstery.
How does it work?
A hot cleaning solution is sprayed onto the carpet and almost immediately extracted, taking the dissolved dirt and grit with it into a recovery tank. Depending on the type of soiling and stains , different pre-sprays and spotters are used to loosen the dirt in much the same way as washing clothes.
Do I have to clear the room before you clean it?
It is always easier to clean a clear room but this is often not practical, so we will move settees and work round heavy items. We do ask that you clear any small breakables.
